Frequently Asked Questions
How do I adopt a puppy?
We prefer getting to know you before placing a puppy, so we often ask for a phone call or for information like your household members, your previous dog/puppy experience, and your familiarity with the breed. We know that you've likely shopped around, and we trust that you are aware of the commitment the comes with owning a pet, so we don't require an application. We do reserve the right to choose homes we feel will meet our puppies' needs.
If you want to reserve a puppy from an upcoming litter, a non refundable deposit will be required. A reservation gives you the chance to pick your puppy early, usually around 5-6 weeks, and puppies will be picked out in the order that reservations are received. Please reach out and we will be happy to provide you with any updates concerning upcoming litters!
What do I need for my new puppy?
You will want a soft blanket and a secure way to transport, for the ride home. Some extra paper towels for any accidents is also a great idea. For home, you will want a kennel, if you plan to crate your puppy for the night. We recommend approx 24x16 crate to start out with. This will also be a safe place for him/her to stay during times when you are not able to be with him. A roomy place for exercise is also important. Food and water bowls, toys, collars, brushes and other accessories will also need to be on your list. And last, but not least, there's a wealth of info out there on training and welcoming your new puppy! Now's your time to soak in all the info and puppy training theory! Good luck! It's one of the most satisfying efforts to develop that relationship, and watch it mature into a lifelong companionship!
What if I have questions after my puppy comes home?
Ask away! We will do everything in our power to ease the transition and answer any questions you may have! If we run into a question that we don't have answer for, we can usually provide references and resources to get the answers needed! And while we are talking about communication, send us pics! We love seeing our little guys growing up and it makes our day!!

If you ever need help to find another home for your Bernedoodle, we can help with that process. Please never, ever consider taking your puppy to a shelter.
